JOB TITLE: Explore Student Program

LOCATION: KHS/SFHS/Voc Rehab

REPORTS TO: Supervisor

HOURS: Part-time

SALARY: $11.00/hour

JOB SUMMARY:          

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for students to gain valuable work experience at our local Vocational Rehabilitation Center. As a Work Experience Intern, you will have the chance to learn and develop essential job skills in a supportive and inclusive environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS:

Hands-on Learning:

• Engage in practical, hands-on tasks under the guidance of experienced staff members.
• Learn and apply basic job skills relevant to the specific vocational rehabilitation center activities.

Team Collaboration:

• Work collaboratively with center staff to contribute to daily operations and projects.
• Participate in team activities and foster a positive and inclusive work environment.

Skill Development:

• Receive training and guidance to enhance essential workplace skills, such as communication, time management, and task completion.
• Gain exposure to various aspects of vocational rehabilitation services.

Personal Growth:

• Develop confidence and independence through real-world work experiences.
• Receive constructive feedback to support your professional and personal growth.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled as a student in a local educational institution.
• Eagerness to learn and a positive attitude towards work and skill development.
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
